Any real car guy needs to drive one, even a stock one, on a twisty road/track. They look like crap, but they are definitely fun. The "cheap parts" comments are kind of a wash. Like any car, there are dirt cheap things, and very expensive things. Tops can range from $100 all the way to nearly $1000. Engine internals are the same as just about any other car. The NAPA Brembo blanks are about the same price as what I paid for them for my Z back in the day (<$30 each), pads are about the same price as for other applications. You can get cheap coilovers for like $150 or you can get badass ASTs for over $5000. OE replacement maintenance parts are on par with other cars, but you don't have to replace them as much as you're anal (which you probably are if you own a Z).
